Stim are started

Holy crap I started Stims! I cant believe this day has finally arrived, it felt like forever away until my cycle was going to begin. I also feel like I am completely crazy for doing this to try to have a daughter to add to our family. Gah!

So I had my injection teaching and then gave myself the menapur and Follistem injection. I must have sat there forever in the nurses office holding the needle and holding my belly where I planned on injecting. But once I did it I couldnt believe how it really was nothing! My bloodwork from earlier hurt more than that! Im still terrified of the pregesteron shots!

Mary was great through the teaching and she was very patient. As I was sitting with the needle and I would go to stick myself but then stop, she would just say "take your time" as if she had no other place to be. So that was really nice that she wasn't acting like I needed to hurry because she had other patients to get to.

At one point my mom started talking and I was like "Mom stop talking!" haha! She was breaking my concentration!

I had a ultrasound this past Monday, the 29th and I stopped taking my birth control pills on the 28th. The u/s tech said everything looked good.

So stims have been started.

I am taking 150 IU of Follistem

I take 1mL of liquid from the bottle in the Menapur box and I add it to the medicine. Then I add the 150 IU of Follistem to the menapur and give myself the shot. Mary said I can do it this way to only get 1 shot instead of 2.

I wont start the Ganerilex just yet. I have the Novarel too but dont know when that starts.

So thats where I am now!
